This page explains what information Sign & Seal may process, why it is needed, and how local document workflows are handled.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Veridir (“we”, “us”, and “our”) handles information in the mobile application Sign & Seal (the “App”).

Core privacy promise: Sign & Seal is built for sensitive document work. PDF stamping, rendering, and export are designed to happen locally on your device. Your PDF documents are not uploaded to a cloud server by the App.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to the App Sign & Seal and the website at signseal.veridir.com. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this document.

2. No User Accounts

The App does not require you to create an account or register. We do not collect usernames, passwords, or account profiles for App use.

3. Information We Process

3.1 PDF documents

When you open, stamp, sign, template, batch process, preview, or export a PDF, the App processes that document locally on your device to provide the requested functionality.

Your PDF documents are not uploaded to a cloud server by the App.

3.2 Stamps, signatures, seals, and templates

The App may store stamps, signatures, seals, templates, and saved history locally on your device so you can reuse them later.

3.3 Photos used to create assets

If you import or capture a photo of a physical stamp or handwritten signature, the App processes that photo to create a transparent reusable asset. The resulting asset may be stored locally.

3.4 Purchases and subscriptions

If you subscribe or make a purchase, payment and subscription status are handled through the app store billing flow and related subscription services. We do not receive your full payment card details.

3.5 Support communications

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, device details, app version, screenshots, sample files, and issue description.

3.6 Technical and diagnostic data

The App may process limited technical information needed to diagnose crashes, export failures, compatibility issues, or billing state. We use this information to keep the App reliable and improve stability.

4. What We Do Not Collect or Track

No user registration data is required for App use.
No third-party advertising SDKs for targeted ads.
No cross-app behavioral advertising profiles.
No upload of your PDF documents to our cloud server by the App.

5. How We Use Information

We use information only for App functionality and support, including:

Opening, previewing, stamping, signing, templating, and exporting PDFs.
Creating and managing local stamps, signatures, seals, templates, and history.
Restoring subscriptions and enabling Plus or Pro features.
Responding to support requests and fixing bugs.
Improving reliability, export quality, and compatibility.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on platform and third-party services for purchases, subscriptions, app review prompts, file picking, sharing, printing, and device compatibility. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Payments and subscriptionsPurchases are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, and subscription infrastructure such as RevenueCat. We use purchase status to unlock paid features.

Device and platform featuresThe App may use system features such as document picker, photo picker, camera access, local file storage, share sheet, print flow, and app review prompts only when needed for App functionality.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Data Storage and Retention

PDFs, stamps, signatures, templates, and saved history may remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.

Support emails are retained as long as needed to respond to your request, maintain records, and improve support quality.

Purchase records may be retained by the app stores and subscription providers according to their own policies.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is designed for productivity and business document workflows. It is not intended for children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing on their own.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App and support process. However, no system can be completely secure, and you should avoid sending confidential documents by email unless necessary for support.

10. Your Choices and Controls

You can stop using the App at any time. You can delete local assets, templates, saved history, and exported files from your device using the App or device storage controls.

You can choose not to grant camera or photo access if you do not want to import images for stamp or signature extraction.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect App changes or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
